Bush Derangement Syndrome


Attendees of the September 24, 2005 anti-war rally in San Francisco overwhelmingly suffered from a disease that has become endemic to California: Bush Derangement Syndrome -- or BDS for short.

Sufferers of BDS come to base their entire lives around hating, mocking, loathing, despising and in general just plain not being very fond of George W. Bush and everyone who has ever been associated with him. After a while, BDS sufferers become so psychologically dependent on this hatred that they could not physically survive without it.

At the rally, there were many sad figures who had already entered into tertiary-stage BDS, which is incurable. It was a heart-wrenching scene, knowing that there was nothing that could be done to rescue them.
