My Country Piss on Thee
Hatred of the United States

The United States of America was not popular at the rally. Not popular at all.


Until recently, these types of protesters tried to sidestep the accusation that they're anti-American by saying that Bush is the world's #1 terrorist. But now that Bush is leaving office soon, they've dropped the pretense.


Who are the terrorists? We're the terrorists. And don't you forget it.


More and more, anti-war protesters are dispensing with the untenable fiction that they support American troops. Signs like this are becoming fairly common.


Here's a banner that nicely expresses most of the day's themes in a purely non-verbal format. A masterpiece. Ponder the details.


Here's a close-up of the left end of the banner, with murderous American troops killing and torturing people, while Iraqi families weep. Later, the soldiers become sad wheelchair-bound victims.


Well, that about sums up the entire day.
